STAND-OUT FRAMES – With a distinct point of view on modern elegance and an inimitable sense of freedom, the Wunderkind brand is a well-kept secret even between fashion aficionados. The German fashion brand, whose name literally means “child prodigy” is just this: a young, beaming label. Even though it is just 10 years old, it has already gathered a following which embodies the exact qualities that Wunderkind stands for: confidence, extravagance, uniqueness.

If this is what the brand is all about, don’t be too surprised when you see that the Wunderkind sunglasses mirror the same sense of individuality. Boasting a luxurious and artistic tone, the Fall/Winter 2014 campaign is based on the concept of a sophisticated self-understanding.

Pictured in an artist’s studio, model Sara Sperling is effortlessly oscillating between opulence and nonchalance, while wearing Wunderkind’s fall mix of colors and textures. Almost every shot is accompanied by a pair of sunglasses, all marvelously oversized and each more eye-catching than the other. Most of them have a rectangular, carré shape, ombre lenses and timeless elegance. And if shapes are so well-behaved, the same cannot be said about colors. Whether blue, orange or white, the hues are remarkably pure and can perfectly complete each look.

All-in-all, one thing is clear: the Wunderkind sunglasses for Fall/Winter 2014 are just as fearless and fanciful as the brand they represent.
