URBAN COOL – Starring Neymar Jr., the latest Police eyewear campaign translates modern urban vibes into light and fun designs that are perfect for a casual day around town. The international football star is the face of the brand for the second year in a row and he’s joined by Mexican model Daniela de Jesus in the newest promotional images.

The 6 image set was shot by renowned British photographer Rankin and the result is a series of photos that read more like portraits than like a conventional campaign. This impression is given by the casual surroundings and relaxed poses of both Neymar and Daniela. Dressed in coordinating leather jackets or in simple tops and shirts, the two manage to fully bring to life the latest Police eyewear. With their vivid hues, standout shapes and ingenious color mixes, the sunglasses are quite the show-stoppers, just like their celebrity models.

The frame selection is quite varied: round, square and oversized frames, as well as classic aviators. As for the color palette, most hues hail from the cooler side of the spectrum. Blues and greens clearly reign supreme, with the occasional yellow and classic black coming in a close second. Dual-colored frames make a couple of appearances, as do a pair of printed sunglasses. In one of his solo images, Neymar wears these abstract camo-print sunnies that, unsurprisingly, seem perfectly at home in the urban habitat.
