A NEW BEGINNING – It seems that the eyewear wiles of the French fashion house are in good hands. Nina Ricci and De Rigo Vision S.p.A., a leading company in the high-end eyewear business, have signed a license agreement for Nina Ricci-branded sunglasses and opticals.

The house’s seasonal collections are complemented by an iconic range of fragrances, out of which L’Air du Temps is the most popular. With new Artistic Director Guillaume Henry at its helm, the brand continues to symbolize luxury, femininity and sensuality.

A world leader in the design, production and distribution of high-end eyewear, De Rigo Vision SpA works with top-notch names, like Carolina Herrera, Blumarine, Chopard, Furla, Givenchy or Lanvin.

This latest license, which includes the design, production and worldwide distribution of the Nina Ricci frames, will become effective in September 2015. The date also marks the launch of the first Nina Ricci eyewear collection. The frames will be available at optical stores and department stores around the world and, of course, in Nina Ricci boutiques. Here’s an excellent reason to look forward to fall!
