CHOOSE YOUR FAVORITES – Sunglasses with various prints, embellishments or inserts always spark more interest than the monochromes, but this season it’s safe to say that they are gearing up to be the biggest stars. Quite a few brands were keen on textures and inserts, from the Chanel tweed-covered glasses seen on the F/W 2014-2015 runway, to the more wearable Jimmy Choo or Dolce & Gabbana frames. And that’s not all. Other brands, like Giorgio Armani or Missoni, have also added to the trend by putting out flannel finishes or abstract prints.
There may be many options out there, but one of them stands out above the rest: delicate, feminine and irresistible sunglasses with lace inserts. With big brands like Dolce & Gabbana and Jimmy Choo that are coming out with their own renditions, lace print sunglasses seem to be here to stay. If you want to get your hands on the real deal, find them in the links below.
Another pattern that is getting its fair share of exposure is the animal print. Jimmy Choo have again stayed at the top of the trends with their recent python inserts – see the Ines sunglasses above. And if your taste leans towards yet another style (oversized and with full animal print action going on), look no further than a pair of Bottega Veneta sunglasses. Timeless and chic.
Last, but definitely not least, consider a pair of sunglasses with a lighter take on the whole animal print craze. Perfect for those who experiment with their style everyday, the Etnia Barcelona “Wild Love in Africa” collection proposes a distilled range of modern animal print-inspired glasses.
