CLEAN AND SOPHISTICATED – Closely following the clean, minimalistic approach that has come to define the brand, the Jil Sander eyewear is similarly understated. Even with Jil Sander’s frequent appearance/disappearance acts as creative director of the homonymous house, her signature is still apparent year after year.

This season, the Jil Sander pieces are as discrete as ever, yet they carry a modern touch. This can be clearly seen in the styling, accessories, lengths and cuts. And in the eyewear department, things look similarly easy and current.

Starring models Iselin Steiro and Rogier Bosschaar, the Fall/Winter 2014-2015 campaign is destined for both women and men. The two look picture perfect in monochrome ensembles, complete with smart shoes and eyewear. All the campaign photos were shot in black and white by Karim Sadli.

Out of all the styles in the Fall 2014 Jil Sander eyewear collection for women, the campaign focuses on a single pair of square-looking frames. In one of the close-ups, Iselin Steiro is pictured wearing sunglasses with a mix of materials on the frames and lasered logos on the temples.

The Jil Sander eyewear range for men is illustrated by a pair of refined black optical frames. Worn by the determined, yet disheveled Rogier Bosschaart, the eyeglasses look right at home with the black turtleneck. Their rectangular shape, thin frame and substantial temples add up to the perfect modern & minimalistic mix that we’ve come to expect from the brand.
