MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN – There are few brand/celebrity pairings that work as well as Lily Allen and House of Holland. The brand’s eccentric and very particular point of view is a perfect match to Lily’s out-there vision and outspoken persona. A clear departure from last year’s black and white images featuring a very naked Eliza Cummings, this year’s Lily Allen + House of Holland collaboration feels more in tune with the essence of the brand: crazy-colorful, crazy-edgy and crazy-fun.
So let’s take a closer look at the campaign. Lensed by Danielle Levitt, the images show a chameleonic Lily switching outfits and moods to match the various pairs of House Of Holland sunglasses. Her messy blonde bob and colorful lips are the only constant throughout the set. Ok, those and the bold eyewear.
This season’s House Of Holland sunglasses range from tame designs (like the round, golden pair with the words “All that glitters is not gold” engraved along the rims) to geometric cat eyes and oversized thick-rims in tropical colors. The stand-outs are the Lippy shades, with lenses fashioned into the shape of an open mouth, and a pair of sunglasses with wired, cage-like contours that take “eye-catching” to a whole new level – instant House of Holland classics!
House of Holland is a brand that marches to the beat of its own drum. The unique vision of its creator and fearless color mix are what sets it apart. If this campaign is any clue, we’re in for a wild, colorful summer season.
