DIESEL DENIM EYE – Believe it or not, denim is one of the hottest trends for summer 2015. The evergreen fabric is taking on many different shapes this season: skirts, jeans, shorts, dresses and, of course, eyewear. Known for being a pioneer in denim and casual fashion, Diesel stays on top of the trend once again with a denim-themed eyewear campaign. The casual wear retailer has kicked off a new Denim Eye campaign for the summer with the help of fashion influencers Kristina Bazan of Kayture and Christina Caradona of Trop Rouge.
The two it-girl ambassadors are set to bring the Denim Eye collection to life as they travel from city to city and stop at international music festivals along the way. Fashion photographer Lee Oliveira will capture their adventures as they wear the new denim sunglasses. The Denim Eye tour page can be viewed here.
With mostly rectangular and cat eye silhouettes, the sunglasses in this collection are all about denim and feature eye-catching textured patterns. The front part of the frames is fully covered in the season’s go to fabric. The temples are a mixture of denim and acetate and playfully display the Diesel logo in silver or gold. As for the finish, the fabric is either raw or decorated with small and colorful sequin-like embellishments, which bring the summer-ready eyewear to life.
