RETRO FLAIR – It wouldn’t be far-fetched to say that the Chloe Spring/Summer 2015 collection will be referenced everyday once warmer days roll around. The easiness and light feeling of the collection are mirrored in everything from the footwear (slightly wedged gladiator sandals), to the airy dresses made out of detailed summer textiles and to the retro eyewear.
Sticking close to the 70s styles that were heavily referenced by numerous fashion houses for the new season, the sunglasses are an impeccable contemporary throwback. The Chloe eyewear 2015 Spring/Summer campaign features blonde beauties Caroline Trentini and Eniko Mihalik. With beachy waves in their hair and dressed up in the brand’s bohemian dresses and powerful denim ensembles, the two pose in a close-up portrait featuring the Chloe Carlina sunglasses.
With a round, oversized silhouette and light metallic contours, these are the only sunglasses worn in the campaign, and for good reason. Their editorial appeal shines through at the first glance: with their double metallic frame, slightly bent temples and an ability to make you look like a 70s babe, there’s no doubt that they will take over not only countless photoshoots, but also quite a few hearts of dedicated fashionistas. After all, everything that Chloe throws out sticks, as we very well know.
