SIGNATURE STYLES – It may not show it at the very first glance, but this season’s elegant black and white Burberry eyewear campaign is filled to the brim with the brand’s iconic motifs. Following in the footsteps of other Burberry product-focused campaigns, this one also zooms in on specific items, namely eyewear. Lensed by Cuneyt Akeroglu, the images look like outtakes from a movie and they’re take you deep into the world of Burberry.

Each wearing an iconic Burberry trench (what else?), Suki Waterhouse and Tarun Nijjer are both seen wearing sunglasses and optical frames. On her part, Suki Waterhouse is modeling a sleek pair of black eyeglasses with a metallic band and laser check detailing on the temples. The coordinating sunglasses are a wonderfully feminine pair of cat eye frames with the same check detail adorning the temples and a tortoise amber finish.

Moving onto the men’s eyewear, which are modeled by the dapper Tarun Nijjer. His semi-rimless optical frames are rectangular and have the same prominent check pattern. As for his sunglasses, they also seem to feature a tortoise finish and, of course, the signature check pattern. This season, the Burberry legacy seems to be more prominent than ever and the newest eyewear campaign stands as proof. The images go into great detail about what stands at the very core of the brand: the check, the signature trench, the sleek details. In other words, Burberry in its purest form.
